Who Am I?
Thanks for checking out my portfolio! I'm Kristina, a 2023 graduate from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Professional Writing (emphasis on Science Communication). In addition to my professional and academic interest in communications, I have a deep personal passion in plant science and sustainability.
My time as a university student provided me with a well-rounded educational background in both the sciences and the humanities; as a result, I've developed a unique, niche skillset that lets me translate qualitative and quantitative data into engaging, narrative-driven content.
I also have background experience as a freelance digital artist, so I enjoy creating multimedia content that lets me really exercise my creative freedom. My favorite project so far has probably been my capstone project, Botanica Magicae, which let me combine my greatest strengths (writing, research, and art) with my passion for plants.
